How Bulk SMS Pricing Works in India
All KAPSYSTEM plans are prepaid credit packs for DLT-registered businesses, billed with 18% GST. The same plans and per-SMS rates apply to promotional and transactional SMS, as per your DLT template approvals; priority OTP routes are quoted by our sales team.
What decides your cost
- Plan size: larger plans lower the rate from 20 paise to 13 paise per SMS.
- Message length: 160 characters per SMS, 70 for Hindi and regional languages; longer messages use one credit per part.
- Priority OTP routes: dedicated routes for OTPs and time-critical alerts are quoted separately.
- GST: 18% is added to every plan, with a GST invoice.

RCS messaging costs ₹0.35 per message, and WhatsApp Business API costs ₹0.18 per utility message and ₹0.96 per marketing message, all plus 18% GST.
